RBH Introduces Connect Program
The challenges facing the c-store retail industry seem to be never ending these days. However, with all of the obstacles being thrown at the retail stores, retailers have found that the latest initiative being offered to them from Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. may be worth grabbing a hold of and getting excited about.Back in April 2009 we introduced the RBH Connect program at a large convenience industry trade show in Toronto. Retailers began asking questions and their interest levels began to rise. With all of the challenges they were facing, RBH is committed to providing retailers with valuable tools that may help retailers with their business.
RBH Connect is a tool that was designed to add value to c-store retailers in Canada by allowing them to connect to valuable industry and product information 24/7 through the RBH retail trade website: www.rbhconnect.ca. The website hosts a variety of relevant items such as RBH product information, tips & tools, market & industry information, trade contests and much more. Not only have we created this information portal, but many retailers who are part of the RBH Connect program also have the opportunity to earn points by working with us to increase their knowledge of the industry & RBH tobacco products.
RBH Connect went live on May 5th, 2009 and the RBH Sales Representatives have been on the street introducing the program to retailers and the response has been positive. Thousands of stores have already logged on, and Retailers are expressing an interest in the value that this site offers.
We have been very happy so far with the initial reaction to the program, and it seems to be clear that retailers are happy to see a program specifically designed for them that may help them with their business by providing them easy access to valuable information in a timely manner.
