Shakopee, Minn., June 22, 2010— Wet Noses Clean Paws announces another addition to their line of self-service dog washes.  This new model, called the K-9™ Compact Pet Wash, is a self-contained unit for use outdoors in warmer climates or in small rooms (5’ x 8’) within existing buildings.  It’s the perfect, easy-to-add revenue generator for dog parks, veterinary clinics, pet supply stores, condos, RV parks, campgrounds, car washes, gas stations, convenience stores, hotels and motels.
 
The new K-9 Compact Pet Wash is easy to install.  Simply place it on a level surface, hook up the pre-plumbed and pre-wired connections to electrical, water and sewer lines and you’re in business.  Each K-9 Compact Pet Wash is made out of tough 14-gauge stainless steel for extended life.  It comes standard with tub, ramp, 220 V on-demand hot water heater, controls, ultra quiet dryer and vacuum, water / grooming solution delivery system, coin / bill selector box, collar tie-down leash and custom decals—all in one compact self-serve system. 
 
To help keep the unit’s tub as germ-free as possible, a disinfectant cycle runs automatically during evening hours.  All electrical, plumbing and grooming solutions are concealed within lockable cabinets. These cabinets use heavy-duty locks to prevent unauthorized entry yet allow the owner / operator easy access for maintenance and replenishing grooming solutions.  The K-9 Compact Pet Wash features a double stainless steel housing to protect the monies deposited by customers.
 
To install the K-9 Compact Pet Wash you need a 110 V outlet for controls, a 220 V outlet for the on-demand water heater, water supply line and a 1 ½” sewer evacuation line.  A complete line of pet grooming supplies is available at wholesale prices.  These include tearless or oatmeal shampoo, conditioner, skunk deodorizer, flea and tick treatment and tub disinfectant.
 
To use the K-9 Compact Pet Wash, your customer simply buys a predetermined amount of time, 10 minutes for example, to complete the wash, condition and dry.  You set the rate per minute the customer pays, anywhere from 50 cents to $2.  Credit card purchases can interface with your existing credit card processing system.  For outdoors installations, limiting purchases to credit card only is recommended over taking currency or coins.
